Kids Count Carnival

Sadie's daycare and home away from home, Kids Count, puts on a fabulous carnival every year! There are lots of things for the kids to do, including face painting, carnival games, bake sale, food, and of course, the Jumpy-thing. Here are some great pics that Auntie Cassie snapped of Sadie having a blast with her best friend, Morgan, and her second-best-friend, Scottie. :)

Sadie's day at the park!

Phil took his kids at Kindercare to Lakefront Park in Prior Lake and came home that night telling us we HAD to go there. So, on Sunday night after we picked Deeds up, we took a trip there with our Dairy Queen so Sadie could check it out for herself. (She LOVES parks...) Sadie reports that her favorite part of the park was the pirate ship. "Aye aye, Captain!" She also liked the "digging contraption" with pulleys and lots of sand. Here are the pics. And here's a shout-out to all the Grandpas, Dads and Phils out there. You're the best and make everything in life a little bit better. In fact, when I gave Sadie a really tight squeeze yesterday she remarked, "Hey, my Grandpa hugs me that tight... all the time!"

A "Screaming" Good Time at Grandma B's

It's really getting to be a PARTY when we all get together to celebrate in Trimont now that a lot of the cousins have kids! Sadie loves playing with Lydia and Hunter and Mickey-K.

Oh yeah, and Sadie's really perfected her wink for Grandpa, as you can see in one of these pics!

I know. I know. I'm awful.

We've been so busy. The end of the year really hit Momma hard! Not only was she stuck correcting 155 writing portfolios and final tests, but she had a sinus and ear infection and was finishing one Masters class and starting another! Ugh!

But here's Sadie Joy doing lots of fun stuff, and I must say, she is happy to be able to sleep in and watch cartoons in Mommy's bed every morning this summer! For this reason alone, you can't beat the teaching profession!
