My Obama Girl...

So, I've been trying to make Sadie wear her Obama '08 T-shirt around town, but she's not having it. She says it's "too big." But, this is about the cutest thing ever. Tonight, as we were winding down I turned on the TV to check on the debate. She knows John McCain because there have been commercials on every other second here! And when she saw Obama, she screamed "O-BA-MA!" Then she propped herself up and looked as if she were actually interested in what they were saying about the economy!

After about a minute, she said to Phil and me, "I think Obama looks like The Rock a little bit."

I just can't stop laughing!

Soccer Sadie... not so much.

She wanted to do it, she really did! It just didn't go as well as expected. Sadie basically made it one week in soccer. She cried through her whole first practice on a Thursday night, and then she cried through the first half of the actual game until her dad took her home. The ball would stop right at her feet she wouldn't even look at it or kick it, she could only sob. She said she didn't want to go back any more this season, so rather than making her hate the game, she's going to wait it out until next year. To be continued...
