After leaving the anniversary party and Skancke Christmas in South Dakota (and in semi-nasty weather,) we headed back to Grandma and Grandpa's house in Waseca for our own Bernhardt Family Christmas. There waiting for Hannah, Sadie, Mom, Dad, and me were Zach, Cassie, Cam, Finn and a Wii. Grandma had some delicious soup ready for us and we ate it quickly and then ran down to the basement to bowl with the Wii. (In all honesty, Cassie spent a good amount of time crafting avatars that looked exactly like us) Sadie kept saying, "I want a 'NICE SPARE!'" (She is actually quite good at the boxing game...)
The next day, Phil stopped by on his way back from the Kelly Christmas in Iowa, and we were able to open gifts and eat a fabulous meal made by Grandma Brenda. Sadie opened some great presents, including an art desk and a white/chalkboard easel. She also loved her Polly Pocket waterslide! Phil headed back to Savage as he had to work in the morning, and Sadie and I stayed one more night with Grandma, as I was feeling a little under the weather.
